Since the beginning of January 2013, women's football played a major role at Pinatar Arena and this year 2017 will came back again as a protagonist of the winter pre-season. Five national teams, 2 U23 teams and 7 professional women's football teams have already confirmed their pre-season at Pinatar Arena.   The women's national teams of Sweden, Russia, Romania, Slovakia and Finland will spend the pre-season at Pinatar Arena during the second half of the month of January and play friendly matches in a tournament including also Norway and Netherlands. Up to a total of 9 international friendly matches within women's football teams will be played at the complex this January.   FC Zurich women's team, last year participant in Champions League, has again chosen Pinatar Arena for their winter stage. Also, the Norwegian Federation will celebrate another edition of the Blink Hus Tournament, involving the 6 best teams of the first Nordic division.   In addition, the U23 women's team of England and Japan will pre-season from 1^st to the 8^th of March in a Football Center where women's football continues to play a leading role.
