Iceland’s manager Heimir Hallgrímsson will set a training camp in Pinatar Arena_
Iceland is again protagonist this summer at Pinatar Arena. Since the opening of the football center in January of 2013, Icelandic football has always been present at the center, where about twenty different teams trained and played friendly matches.
Iceland’s manager, Heimir Hallgrímsson and his staff, the swedish co-manager Lars Lagerback and Gudmundur Hreidarsson, current Iceland’s goalkeeper’s coach at Euro 2016, will lead at Pinatar Arena a training camp for Icelandic footballers, lasting from the 24th to 31st of July. After a historic and brilliant participation of Iceland at Euro 2016 in France, Heimir Hallgrímsson and Gudmundur Hreidarsson are coming to Pinatar Arena for this training camp.
In addition, the Icelandic women football team of Thor Akuyeri will spend its pre-season at Pinatar Arena from the 8th of July till the15th of July, during which they will also dispute a friendly match. The Icelandic team gives the start for the pre-season training camps at the football center that will host this summer more than twenty different teams.
In only three years and a half, Icelandic teams to visit visit Pinatar Arena were Stjarnan , Valur , KR , Akranes , KA Akureyri, Throttur , Haukar , Grindavik, Selfoss, Fram , IBV, Vidir , Vikingur and the above mentioned Thor Akureyri.
